Before booking, what hesitations or fears did you have (if any)? (Body concerns, nerves, privacy, posing, etc.)
I was hesitant to make the investment in myself and didn’t know how I would look wearing lingerie and posing in front of a stranger.
What ultimately made you decide to book your session?
I saw how beautiful the other pictures done by Megan were. Her poses, outfits, lighting, etc were soft and feminine which is what I wanted for my session.
How did you feel walking into the studio that day?
I was a good mix of nervous and excited. I had no idea what to expect but was trying to go in with an open mind and just have fun.
How did you feel during the session once we got started?
Very quickly, Megan helped me feel safe, secure, and confident. She reassured me that it was going to be fun and to trust the process. I immediately felt more comfortable once we started and I could see how beautiful I looked on camera.
Was there a moment during your session that surprised you? (A pose, a feeling, something you saw on the back of the camera, etc.)
I was surprised at how great I felt in each outfit and also surprised by how tough some of the poses were. Who knew hand placement and pointed toes could make such a difference ?!
How did you feel when you saw your images for the first time?
Ecstatic and giddy! I was so so happy I decided to take the leap and do this for myself to have forever
Did this experience change how you see yourself? If so, how?
Yes! I couldn’t how simultaneously soft, yet strong, my body looked. I’ve never felt more confident
What would you say to a woman who is considering a boudoir session but feels nervous or unsure?
Do it and allow yourself to have fun! There’s never going to be a “perfect” time. Megan will make sure you feel beautiful and confident no matter what stage of life you’re in when you get in front of that camera!
If you had to describe your boudoir experience in 3–5 words, what would they be?
Confidence boost, fun, no regrets!
